WHAT YOU’RE RUNNING FOR: CULINARIA’S FARM
Culinaria is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to benefiting the San Antonio community and promoting San Antonio as an ideal wine and food destination.
The heart of what we do is to promote San Antonio as a culinary destination – meaning we want to celebrate the cuisine of our city and the talent of our chefs in the community with both locals and visitors. But, that is a balancing act between moderation and a healthy lifestyle and our solution has been years in the making and we couldn’t be more excited about the possibilities of The Farm!
The main goal of Culinaria’s Farm, opening in the early summer of 2016, is to introduce a center of Food Education within the San Antonio community. Through school tours, seminars, and chef-led cooking classes with produce grown on-site, it will be an excellent place for the community to learn about living well and the joys of being involved in watching their garden grow.

GOODIE BAGS (FOR THE FIRST 1,000 at PACKET PICKUP):
Culinaria race goodie bags are guaranteed to the first 1,000 runners to pick up their packets. T-Shirt sizes are unisex sizes and decided by the size marked on your registration entry. No trades or exchanges, please.
The Start Line corral system allows for a smooth race start for participants of varying levels. Based on the estimated mile time you provided on your race entry form, we ask you to correspond with the appropriate corral number for the start of the race. If you are running with a baby stroller or jogger, please understand that you must report to the back of the starting line to avoid injury of other runners.
In an effort to provide every one of our participants with as comfortable a run as possible, the Wave Start will be incorporated into Culinaria’s 5K Wine & Beer Run Event.
Participants are assigned to an appropriate corral based on their average mile time submitted on their entry form. When the gun fires, the first corral will be released. The rest of the participants will be held at the start line. At pre-determined intervals the next corral will be released. By using this staggered starting method, the pack will be spread out and allow every runner to settle into their racing rhythm from the first step right to the finish line.
**This race is expected to sell out quickly, as it does every year. We will not accept any registration forms post sell out. NO REFUNDS OR TRANSFERS PERMITTED. This includes registration fees, registration entries and t-shirts.**
Thank you to these sponsors who make the Culinaria 5k Wine & Beer Run the best!
