The Culinaria Festival 2017 starts off with a dinner celebrating another year of food enthusiasm. Texas beef takes center stage surrounded by the best of company in this family-style intimate dinner. The evening begins with a reception featuring the star of the show – beef. A seated dinner to follow with beef centered dishes in some imaginative ways. Chefs Luis Colon (Bexar Pub), Javier Davalos (Kirby’s Prime Steakhouse), James Moore (Grayze on Grayson), Brian West and Jeff White (Boiler House) share their talents for this one-night only dinner complete with wine from Becker Vineyards. The evening concludes with a special coffee presentation incorporating Licor 43 and Redemption Rye Whiskey.

Often overlooked as the super-star that it is, yet, the center of many celebrations among family and friends and a comfort food for all, we’re giving Tex-Mex the stage that it deserves. When partnered with its good friend, Tequila, the show will go on and will certainly entertain plenty of taste buds. Learning a bit of history along the way of exactly how Tex-Mex came to be will have everyone singing its praises! Your one-ticket purchase not only includes entry into the Tex-Mex and Tequila event, but, also an array of wine, beverage and food seminars as well. Now, when we say seminars, we don’t mean the perfect time to take a nap… the Culinaria seminars are certainly informative, but, the way that we learn best is through tasting, and you can be sure that there will be plenty of that.

It’s the mouthwatering, jaw dropping gourmet event of the week. The sights, sounds, and tastes of the Grand Tasting show it’s more than just in the name. Varieties of cuisines paired with equally varied beverage choices will enamor even the most veteran of food lovers. There is live entertainment, music, a silent auction, and all you can eat to make it the best Saturday night you’ve had since last year’s festival.

Parking: Self-Parking at The Shops at La Cantera (North Lot) only, and Valet parking on a first come first served basis for $20 per car. The Valet stand will be set up in the Grille Lot, as this is the closest spot to the Ballroom event. Once Valet is full, all parking will be Self and at The Shops at La Cantera (North Lot).
