Culinaria 5K Wine & Beer Run

Saturday, March 18, 2017

About This Activity

Food enthusiasts with an appetite for running, rejoice! The Culinaria 5K Wine & Beer Run is back. Grab a group of friends, dawn your running shoes, and find out why elastic waistbands are the best feature in athletic wear. Come and indulge at our post-race reception filled with entertainment, food, and of course, wine & beer.  Toast to a race well ran and dig in with Culinaria.

Culinaria is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to benefiting the San Antonio community and promoting San Antonio as an ideal wine and food destination. One of our goals is to make San Antonio an epicenter of culinary education, which is why we’re excited for the possibilities of The Culinaria Farm.

The Farm will be an educational endeavor to teach our community how to grow their own food and the endless possibilities of what to do with homegrown fruits and vegetables. Through school tours, seminars, and chef-led cooking classes with produce grown on-site, it will be a center for food education and sustainability. Featuring exciting up-and-coming technology through MIT and traditional farming practices The Farm will teach our community you can grow your own food using whatever resources you may have.

Food Truck Event

The Food Truck Event hasn’t been forgotten… in fact, it is loved by so many, that we feel it deserves its own spotlight in our event line-up. Once a part of the Culinaria Wine and Food Festival, it will now be solo in September. With this, we’re able to deliver more of what you crave – more space, more hours and more food trucks – so, you can enjoy delicious creations by mobile chefs. The day is packed with entertainment and some on-site shopping from our vendors – and, of course, plenty of beverages.

Also new this year, tickets to “purchase” food and drinks will be sold at ticket booths… so, no need to worry about which food trucks will accept cash or credit cards – we’ll accept both!
