Restaurant Week celebrates food at all of our local restaurants! It is a cross section of the San Antonio culinary scene that encompasses a diverse range of cuisines and includes some of our most time-honored restaurants and buzz-worthy newcomers. The experience gives visitors and residents the opportunity to experience the quality, variety and hospitality that embody the San Antonio dining experience. Bon appétit San Antonio! This exclusive evening will take place once again inside the Culinary Institute of America’s San Antonio kitchen while five chefs dazzle 12 guests each with a multi-course menu paired with rare and fine wines from private cellar owners. It’s truly a unique event and one that highlights the culinary talent in San Antonio.

5K/10K Hallowine Run

It’s autumn in San Antonio and Halloween is right around the corner – luckily, Culinaria, Texas’ premier wine and food nonprofit organization, has something spooky and spectacular planned. On October 28, 2017, don your best costume and head to the Shops at La Cantera for the Hallowine 5k & 10k! Celebrate the spirit of Halloween with the best local chefs, beverages, vendors and Halloween flair that the city has to offer. The Hallowine 5k & 10k is family-friendly – dress up in costume, bring the kiddos to run the Tot Trot, trick or treat and dance the day away “Monster Mash” style.
Of course, Hallowine 5k & 10k participants and their families will enjoy a post-run celebration that promotes delicious eats, irresistible drinks and a healthy lifestyle. Elevated, chef-driven cuisine courtesy of local haunts (get it?) will be offered throughout the course area at the Shops at La Cantera. Participants aged 21+ can take part in the fall festivities courtesy of our local beer and wine vendors. All in all, the Hallowine 5k & 10k is the autumn San Antonio event that runners and runners-at-heart cannot miss out on! Food enthusiasts with an appetite for running, rejoice! The Culinaria 5K Wine & Beer Run is back. Grab a group of friends, dawn your running shoes, and find out why elastic waistbands are the best feature in athletic wear. Come and indulge at our post-race reception filled with entertainment, food, and of course, wine & beer. Toast to a race well ran and dig in with Culinaria.
WHAT YOU’RE RUNNING FOR: THE CULINARIA FARM
Culinaria is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to benefiting the San Antonio community and promoting San Antonio as an ideal wine and food destination. One of our goals is to make San Antonio an epicenter of culinary education, which is why we’re excited for the possibilities of The Culinaria Farm.
The Farm will be an educational endeavor to teach our community how to grow their own food and the endless possibilities of what to do with homegrown fruits and vegetables. Through school tours, seminars, and chef-led cooking classes with produce grown on-site, it will be a center for food education and sustainability. Featuring exciting up-and-coming technology through MIT and traditional farming practices The Farm will teach our community you can grow your own food using whatever resources you may have.

Rambling Rosé attendees are given the opportunity to sample some wonderful rosé wines, including one from Becker Vineyards.
