San Antonio’s top chefs and mobile chefs serve their fine cuisine right from their mobile trucks! Here, some of the more popular food trucks will gather in one place providing an opportunity to attendees for a stroll around that includes wine, shopping and live entertainment. It’s a casual evening of gourmet foods and, of course, wine and beer. Seize the opportunity to gather and dine with these esteemed guests.

The Beckers play host to three local chefs each taking one course of the meal and pairing it with the festival’s guest winemakers for the week. This year’s featured chefs include Chef David Gilbert of Sustenio, Chef Stefan Bowers of Feast and Chef Steve McHugh of Luke.

Guests at this seminar will experience a blind tasting with the experts and our special guests Virginia Philip, Master Sommelier and Guy Stout, CWE, Master Sommelier along with our local wine experts, Dr. Richard Becker, Becker Vineyards and Steven Krueger, Resort Sommelier for the Westin La Cantera. These experienced palates will give you the chance to taste wine like a pro with a combination of white and red wines and certainly a surprise or two along the way.

Texas is known for its burgers, barbecue and beer.  Lucky for you, we decided to put all of these signature Texas features together in one event!  San Antonio’s finest dining establishments offering their best interpretation of the Texas culture we have all come to know and love.  Bring your family and friends for all the beverages you can think of and enough food to feed the Lone Star State.  This backyard fare will be a perfect end to the festival and the weekend.

As the summer winds down and fall is on the horizon, it's the perfect time to relax and enjoy it all with an afternoon at Becker Vineyards for Rambling Rosé. Attendees of this event return year after year for the opportunity to sample some wonderful rosé wines, including one from Becker Vineyards. Experience the wines through a blind tasting with a panel of experts that will help guide you through a palate of flavors. More flavors follow in the form of food as Chef John Brand of Las Canarias at the Omni La Mansion del Rio Hotel and Ostra at Mokara will provide tasty bites to complete the day.

 

Cinema Culinaria

EZ's Brick Oven & Grill is partnering with Culinaria Food & Wine Festival to present Cinema Culinaria every Thursday beginning May 31, 2012 and continuing through August 16, 2012 at the EZ's location in the Sunset Ridge Shopping Center, 6498 North New Braunfels Avenue. Cinema Culinaria kicks off with a screening of foodie movie favorite Julie & Julia at dusk in a specially designed outdoor setting in EZ's expansive parking lot. A new twist on the old drive-in movie, Cinema Culinaria features outdoor patio-style seating for "dine-in" movies, all of which will share a central theme of food or wine for culinary aficionados.

Culinaria invites you to the culinary event of the year for San Antonio – Chefs & Cellars. This exclusive evening will take place once again inside the Culinary Institute of America’s San Antonio kitchen while chefs dazzle 12 guests each with a multi-course menu paired with rare and fine wines from private cellar owners.

 

Hole in Wine Golf Classic

There is no better way to celebrate San Antonio's fall like an outdoor tournament with wine!! The Hole in Wine Golf Classic offers individuals and businesses the opportunity to enjoy an exciting day on the links at San Antonio's premier daily fee golf course. Enjoy a round of golf with your friends and celebrate with a fine wine and chef driven reception after. Each player will enjoy a gourmet boxed lunch and entrance to the wine & dinner reception on the day of the event. Contests ranging from closest to the pin and long drive complement the day as well as live music during the reception
